The base game itself. Tomodachi (友達) is Japanese for “friends.” Unlike The Sims, you have little direct control. Instead, you act as an observer-god, solving problems like lost socks, unrequited crushes, and dreams of becoming a space pirate.

The first European release had minor inconsistencies. For example, the Dutch translation in Rev 1 contained a few anglicisms. Rev 2 corrected phrases like “Lunchtijd” (lunch time) formatting in the Mii apartment windows.
